Description
EN 13979-1 and TB/T 3506 are standards for the design of railway wheels.
LIMIT® Implementation
The T/BT includes two criteria. The first criterion is based on the principal stress amplitude and similar to the EN 13979-1. The second criterion is called “Modified Crossland”, using the amplitude of the second invariant of the stress deviator and the maximum hydrostatic stress. Since both criteria can be activated individually, the user can easily switch between the two standards EN13979-1 and TB/T 3506.
Results are available as degrees of utilization (DoU).
